HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
The skin care regimes are to be used over a period of weeks, whereas the chemical peels (Obagi Blue Peels) are repeated 4-6 times to achieve the best results.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY PERIOD?
During treatment your skin may redden, similar to mild sunburn, and with the chemical peels, light skin peeling can be expected. These are temporary and settle down once the treatment course is complete.

As a rule, apart from the specific instructions given to you at the time of your consultation, avoiding direct sunlight during your treatment is a good rule of thumb. Therefore, if the weather is good, sunblock and a wide brimmed hat are a necessity.
The principle complication with medical grade skin care and skin peels is of the treatments being too strong. This can be avoided if the instructions given to you are followed carefully. As long as you recognise that you have used too much – often indicated by a stinging or mild burning sensation, and stop the treatment; then your skin should recover. If you are in any doubt, please contact Purity Bridge at the earliest possible opportunity.
People with prior history of sensitivity or allergic reaction to Obagi products or any of its ingredients should not use it. The safety of topical hydroquinone, which is an ingredient of many Obagi products, during pregnancy or in children (12 years and under) has not been established.
